**International Student (Non-Iranian)**

An international student is a person holding a non-Iranian passport who enters the country with a study visa. Applicants holding dual nationality - Iranian and non-Iranian - cannot be accepted as international students.

**International Student with Scholarship**

This term refers to non-Iranian international students who enroll in long-term diploma, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral courses, both theoretical and practical, as well as short-term educational courses and scholarship opportunities offered through agreements between the Islamic Republic of Iran and other governments or through organizations and institutions, or by personal request for free education.

**International Student without Scholarship**

Where a non-Iranian incoming student who does not have a scholarship is notified that he/she must pay all tuition and accommodation fees according to the terms announced by the center.

**Scholarship**

The provision of free education opportunities with payment of tuition fees for students depends on the rules and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran government and is granted in two ways: Scholarship (A) and Scholarship (B):

1. **Scholarship (A):** Beneficiaries of this type of scholarship receive, in addition to free education (exemption from tuition fees), facilities such as educational assistance, medical insurance, bachelor accommodation, or married accommodation if possible, or housing allowance. They are also entitled to receive assistance in the cost of writing the thesis.

2. **Scholarship (B):** Beneficiaries of this type of scholarship enjoy free education (exemption from tuition fees) and facilities such as health insurance and bachelor accommodation if possible.

**Priority in Granting Scholarship**

A. Cultural agreements between the Islamic Republic of Iran government and other countries for student exchange.

B. Applicants from Islamic countries.

C. The approved annual quota for each country.

D. Good academic record of students.
