Islamic Studies and Theology

One of the programs offered by this center is Islamic Studies and Theology, which is conducted through virtual (online) education methods. In this program, students learn the basics and common sciences and teachings of Islam before delving into specialized courses in Islamic theology. By strengthening their religious beliefs, students can also respond to religious doubts in this field.

The mission of Islamic theology is to elucidate and establish religious and doctrinal beliefs. In the present age, extensive efforts have been made against the foundations and beliefs of Islam, and various doubts about Islamic creed have been raised by anti-religious groups. Considering this, students in this program, by learning the sciences and teachings of Islam, will be able to respond to religious doubts in this field while strengthening their religious beliefs.

Some of the specialized courses in this program include: specialized language, philosophical and theological texts, modern logic, critical thinking, epistemology and foundations of religious knowledge, philosophy of empirical sciences, history of Western philosophy, history of Islamic philosophy, familiarity with Baha'ism and Wahhabism, history of Sufism and mysticism, foundations of mysticism, familiarity with major religions, Islamic theology, interfaith theology, comparative theology between religions, critique of secularism-humanism and liberalism, philosophy of ethics, modern theology, history and texts of Islamic theology, and more.
