Islamic Studies

One of the programs offered by this university is Islamic Studies, which is conducted through virtual (online) education methods. In this program, students become familiar with the sciences and teachings of Islam, learning about the foundations and structure of Islamic culture. They can strengthen their religious beliefs using reliable Islamic sources and provide reasoned answers to various doubts and inquiries.

In virtual training courses, students can participate in online classes and benefit from the teachings of experienced instructors. In case of absence, they can access the archives of these classes. Additionally, the educational materials (textbooks, teaching videos, and audio recordings) are available for students to follow the curriculum. Students can also purchase course materials and instructional CDs or flash drives from the center's online bookstore.

Given the richness of Islamic teachings, students in this program become acquainted with Islamic doctrines. They are prepared to respond to doubts by utilizing the noble verses of the Quran, the traditions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and employing rational arguments.

Some specialized courses in this program include: Quranic teachings, principles of jurisprudence and fundamentals, jurisprudence, Shia teachings, the biography of the infallibles, history of Shiism, familiarity with Hadiths, teachings of Nahj al-Balagha, Islamic ethics, contemporary theological issues, epistemology and foundations of religious knowledge, Quranic history, contemporary analytical history, Islamic dress code, history of Islamic culture and civilization, Islamic political system, Islamic legal system, Islamic management, Islamic economics, Islamic education, fundamentals of sociology, psychology, messianism, Baha'ism and Wahhabism, familiarity with Islamic mysticism, English language for Islamic specialized texts, and more.
