Contemporary analytical history of Iran
History in general is the sum total of the conditions and events experienced by an organism. We can search for the past of a phenomenon such as: Its origins, how it grew and developed, the transformations it underwent, and what it eventually became. This type of scientific research is called historical investigation. The investigation through which we can navigate the history of the emergence of science in general, the history of philosophy, mathematics, the history of nations, the history of wars, and... The study of the history of human societies, and what man has become through the ages, is of great importance.
Historical knowledge is the first building block in the formation of the human cognitive system at the political and social level. The importance of history comes not only from the fact that it reveals the past, but also because it contributes to building the intellectual structure of man in the present and the distant future. In one word: History is the record of nations.
The Holy Qur'an has paid a great deal of attention to history, not just to learn about historical facts, but also to learn about historical laws, how nations and societies change from one state to another, and the reasons for the decline and greatness of previous civilizations. The narratives and hadiths also urge us to meditate on history and learn from it.
